Being at home saves me from the risk, so I use a PC to program “Blue Train (J.Coltlane)” in sequence.
This time it’s a blues , which is my favorite format.
When I was a student, I went to a jazz cafe called “Funky” in Kichijoji. The store was driving ALTEC speakers with Macintosh amps and was the place to meet the music of John Coltrane, Albert Ayler and Archie Shepp. They had developed free jazz. They removed the restrictions on performance, greatly expanded the limits of expression like the abstract painting symbolized by Dadaism, and transmitted deep spirituality and philosophy.
